Officially Launched ... No, Not Really

I have recently just updated this blog and did a little research around the net. There's so much information online you just can't choose. There's enough competition as it is and so it took me almost a week to decide with what direction I wanted to take this blog in. As I wish to add more of a personal touch then a cold directory feel which the last version of my blog did, there was no room for a comment, not even a little game of tag to see that someone dropped by.

So I started off looking for a new blogger template as the ones provided by Google are beginning to lose their luster. I started with blogger templates, moved around to independent sources and ended up with this, a simple yet potential outline that I have been tweaking around with ever since.

For the social feel, I found two widgets for the time being which can add a little traffic to my site - feedjit, which has various different styles ranging from long to short live traffic feeds to a little map of where in the world people are coming from. Then with mybloglog, a Yahoo service, I'm able to join a community of people who have blogs and can visit one another, play games, become friends and just discover more beyond myself for that matter.

To take it entirely to another whole dimension, okay I'm not the first to admit it, but this blog is gonna rock. For how long? Until I most likely have less time. Other than that it'll still cover it's main theme - PTC.

What about the lists?

All the PTCs that has been on my old blog has been neatly organized into tables so it would be better accessible. I have even decided to compile them together into a simple HTML for offline browsing since I know that time is limited so just hit me and move on!

As for downside, the only thing I can think about for someone to see these list is to find the trove of information a bit too much and so I'll break it down every once in awhile and do a little review here and there.

Here's an idea ...

I can put my camtasia studio program to work and implement some youtube videos of which I can share with my referrals as I find that sometimes they turn idle or just register and sit there. It would be a great way to tap into the web 2.0 great communication network.

Overall, it's going to be more of an interactive ride with this blog as I find various ways to monetize it because it's not going to be easy, but I'll take the challenge.

Until then, this blog is officially launched ... okay not really but it's up and I hope you enjoy it.
